Vaporesso Vibe SE 2 Pod Kit

The Vibe SE 2 is a buttonless mouth to lung pod kit with a 1400mAh battery and two power modes. It fires on inhale alone, and a single toggle on the side moves between ECO and Power modes, changing both the wattage and the airflow together.

The pod that ships with the Vibe SE 2 kit holds two coils rather than one. ECO fires the 0.8 ohm side at 15W for a tighter draw, Power fires the 0.6 ohm side at 28W for a looser one. Nothing is swapped over to change between them.

It is the second generation of the Vibe SE, and it sits in Vaporesso's Vibe line alongside the Vibe Nano and Vibe Nano Pro.

1400mAh Battery and USB-C Charging

Vaporesso rate the Vibe SE 2 as lasting up to 30 hours in ECO mode, and say it adds about six hours of daily use over the first Vibe SE. Those are their figures rather than ours.

Charging is USB Type-C at DC 5V/1A. Vaporesso publish no charge time, so there is none quoted here, and the cable is not in the box.

How long a charge lasts depends on how you vape rather than on the kit. Power mode at 28W empties it a good deal faster than ECO at 15W, and somebody on twenty puffs a day will get a different answer from somebody on two hundred.

The LED reads the battery in three bands. Green from 60 to 100 percent, blue from 10 to 60, red when the charge falls below 10. On charge it holds red, then turns green and stays green for 25 minutes once it is full.

ECO and Power Modes

One toggle on the side of the Vibe SE 2 sets the mode, and the airflow moves with it rather than separately.

Both coils sit inside the one pod, so the mode decides which of the two fires. There is no second pod to fit and no coil to change.

Where Is the Fire Button on the Vibe SE 2?

There is not one. The Vibe SE 2 is draw activated, so you inhale on the mouthpiece and it fires on its own.

The only control on the body is the toggle at the side, and that sets ECO or Power. If the kit is not firing, check the pod is seated and that a fresh one has been left to prime.

What Are the Differences Between the Vibe SE and Vibe SE 2?

The SE 2 is the second generation of the SE, not a replacement for the whole Vibe series. Vaporesso print SE 2 on the device, which is often read and typed as S2 or SE2.

What Pods Fit the Vaporesso Vibe SE 2?

It takes the Vibe dual mesh pod, and that is the only pod Vaporesso make for it.

They come two to a pack in two resistance pairings, 0.6 with 0.8 ohm and 0.7 with 1.0 ohm. The kit ships with the 0.6 and 0.8. The 0.7 and 1.0 pairing gives a tighter draw again, at 13W in ECO and 22W in Power.

Restock from the Vibe replacement pods. XROS pods do not fit, nor do ECO Nano pods or GTX coils.

Which E-Liquid Suits the Vibe SE 2?

It is built for mouth to lung vaping, so nic salts at 10mg or 20mg are the usual choice.

A 50/50 VG and PG freebase e-liquid also wicks fine in these pods. High VG e-liquid is too thick for a 1.0 ohm or 0.8 ohm coil and will give dry hits.

Vaporesso make the Vibe SE 2 vapes in nine finishes in two styles. The leather wrapped ones measure very slightly larger than the plated ones.

How to Use the Vaporesso Vibe SE 2

Five minutes of priming before the first vape is the step that decides whether the first pod tastes right. To get started:

1. Peel the sticker off a new pod and push it into the battery.
2. Lift the silicone plug and fill through the port, then press the plug firmly back.
3. Leave a fresh pod five minutes for the coil to take up the e-liquid.
4. Set the side toggle to ECO for a tighter draw or Power for a looser one.
5. Inhale on the mouthpiece. There is no button to press.

If the red LED flashes and the kit stops, that is a protection cutting in. Five flashes is a short or a resistance reading too low or too high, four is heat, three is low voltage, and three flashes of the battery LED means a draw has gone past eight seconds.
