Vaporesso Luxe X3 Pod Vape Kit

The Luxe X3 is a refillable pod kit with a 2600mAh battery and power adjustable to a 45W maximum, set from a 0.8 inch digital display. It fires on the button or on inhale, and airflow moves between a tight mouth to lung draw and a looser restricted lung draw on a toggle at the side.

The UK kit ships with two dual mesh pods, a 0.6 ohm fitted and a 0.4 ohm spare, both 2ml and TPD compliant.

Vaporesso place it at the top of the Luxe X line, above the 1500mAh original Luxe X and the 2000mAh Luxe X2. Their claim is 30 percent more capacity than the X2, and 2600 against 2000 bears that out exactly.

2600mAh Battery and USB-C Charging

The Luxe X3 carries 2600mAh. That is 30 percent above the Luxe X2 at 2000mAh and well clear of the original Luxe X at 1500mAh. Charging is USB Type-C at DC 5V/2A and the cable is in the box.

Vaporesso publish no charge time for this kit, so there is no figure to quote for it.

How long a charge lasts comes down to how you vape rather than to the kit. A 0.4 ohm pod near the 45W ceiling empties it far quicker than a 0.6 ohm pod at low power, and somebody on thirty puffs a day will get a different answer from somebody on three hundred.

How Do I Change the Wattage on the Luxe X3?

Wattage is changed with the power button, not from a menu.

1. Click the power button three times.
2. Click the power button again to step the wattage along.
3. Wait three seconds and the setting confirms itself.

The display shows wattage and battery level, and nothing else. Click the power button or seat a pod to wake it. If the buttons do not respond, check the lock toggle at the base of the kit, which locks the display and the button together.

Does the Luxe X3 Fire on Inhale?

Yes, and on the button as well. Vaporesso build it both ways, so you can press to fire or simply draw on the mouthpiece with nothing pressed.

Airflow is separate from firing. A toggle on the side of the battery moves between a tight setting for mouth to lung and a loose setting for restricted lung, so the draw is set by hand rather than by wattage.

Which Pods Fit the Vaporesso Luxe X3?

The X3 takes every Luxe X series pod. The dual mesh 0.6 and 0.4 ohm pods it ships with fill from the top. The older Luxe X pods fill from the bottom and fit as well, and so does the Luxe XR MTL pod, which takes a separate GTX coil.

The Luxe X, Luxe X2 and Luxe X Pro all use the same pod family, so spares bought for any of them fit the X3. Luxe Q pods do not fit, and neither do XROS pods.

Vaporesso Luxe X3 vs Luxe XR Max 2

These two get compared often, but they are built for different things.

The X3 is the smaller, simpler vape kit and suits mouth to lung and restricted lung vaping. The Luxe XR Max 2 goes to 80W and ships with a direct lung pod as well as a mouth to lung one, so it covers higher VG shortfill that the X3 is not built for.

How to Use the Vaporesso Luxe X3

Five minutes of priming before the first vape is the step most people skip.

1. Pull the Luxe X3 pod from the battery and peel the sticker off a new one.
2. Lift the silicone plug at the top of the pod, fill through the port and press the plug firmly back.
3. Leave a fresh pod five minutes for the coil to take up e-liquid.
4. Click the power button five times inside two seconds to switch the kit on.
5. Set the airflow toggle on the side, tight for mouth to lung or loose for restricted lung.
6. Press the button or just inhale.

Four clicks of the power button turn the RGB light on and off. If the display shows E1 the resistance is too low or shorted, and E2 means no pod is reading or the resistance is too high.
